Week 2 at the nursing home...
Daily Deviation, 2009-01-09

Daily DeviationEver since I saw Doris by ~LeahPhotography back in April 2007 that the face and expression of this woman marked my soul. Today, more than one year after seeing it for the first time, I still get the same strange attraction towards this photo! I just can't stop looking at this and while I do so I begin to think about my grandma' and her past and about myself and my future and about us, the human kind, and our present day conditions... But enough babbling - I just hope you enjoy Doris' portrait as much as I do! (Featured by ^Helewidis)

This is very touching. I love how she looks so happy, and then in her eyes you can see so much depth. I think old people, little kids and babies have the best smiles because they seem the most sincere.
